IMI TRAINING CATALOGUE AVAILABLE

IMI Catalogue

The International Marina Institute (IMI), the training subsidiary of the Association of Marina Industries (AMI), has released the training catalog for its 2013–14 academic year.

Reformatted and graphically enhanced, the catalog features self-guided training manuals, online classes, conference schedules, and beginning to advanced marina management courses. Specific class times, dates, and locations can be found throughout the season, which runs from September 2013 to December 2014, at MarinaAssociation.org/training.

“IMI is so much more than the Advanced Marina Management Class and the CMM certification, we have so many more offerings. This new catalog helps to highlight that IMI is the resource for training from entry-level to CMM/CMO certifications and everything in between,” says Kayce Florio, IMI’s training coordinator. “We are also very fortunate to have a world-class faculty of industry leaders who deliver these programs. They too are highlighted in this catalog.”

The nearly 20-page catalog also includes IMI’s new Marina Career Paths flowchart with training suggestions for those who have been hired in entry-level positions as well as suggestions for skilled staff and managers. For those planning to continue a marina career, the catalog outlines IMI’s certification process to achieve either the Certified Marina Manager (CMM) or Certified Marina Operator (CMO) designations.
