ORGANIZERS ANNOUNCE 65% OF BOOTH SPACE 2013 NMEA CONFERENCE AND EXPO NOW SOLD

NMEA

Organizers of the 2013 NMEA Conference & Expo have announced that 65% of booth spaces are now sold, although some great booth locations are still available.

Also, the early-bird attendee registration deadline is Friday 19 July.  Don’t miss out on the $100 saving and register today! There is now a provisional schedule of conference events on NMEA.ORG – click on ‘2013 Conference Information’.  You’ll see the full and exciting slate of education classes, manufacturer sessions, technology briefs and NMEA standards meetings scheduled over the 4 days.  Some details are not yet finalized, such as room assignments and manufacturer training time-slots, however this information will be posted soon and we will update this schedule regularly up to the conference. So, check the NMEA web site from time to time to help you plan for the conference.

Detailed descriptions of the 15 education tracks (each track presented 2x) will be published later this month and communicated by email and
on the NMEA website.

Manufacturer training slots are still available for Saturday (2 hour sessions).  The Thursday 1-hour sessions are over-subscribed and we will offer an alternate Saturday session to those who cannot be included in the Thursday time-slots. Manufacturers will receive NMEA Product Award nomination forms during the week of 15 July.  Manufacturer members should return their nomination form promptly to ensure that outstanding products receive maximum exposure and consideration for the prestigious 2013 NMEA product awards and the annual BWI Technology award.

All NMEA members – dealers, trade, manufacturer staff, associates – should take advantage of the 28% discount on NMEA certificate classes
offered at the conference. This includes the MEI, AMEI and NMEA 2000 classes. If you haven’t taken these classes, or it has been several years since you took a class, there is a wealth of new information and updated training materials offered to keep you current and productive.  The NMEA certificate courses are developed by NMEA staff and committees comprising the best installers, technicians and engineers in our industry and are essential foundations to keep your technical staff up to date with the rapid evolution of technology and practices in marine electronics.  And don’t forget – completion of these classes by a dealer’s staff, adds points towards achieving Master Dealer status!
