CHAPARRAL BOATS AWARDED INDUSTRY OF THE YEAR BY BERRIEN COUNTY CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

 At the Berrien County Chamber of Commerce annual awards banquet Chaparral Boats, Inc. was awarded Industry of the Year. “We were honored to win the Industry of the Year award for our employees, dealers and suppliers” said Chaparral President, Jim Lane.

 “The Industry of the Year award recognizes local businesses large and small that have made a significant impact on our community either by expanding or improving their business, therefore improving the economy and quality of life for all in the community” said Chrissy Staley, Executive Director of the Berrien County Chamber of Commerce.
 
“We have a great community and are proud to play our part in growth and development of Berrien County” said Chaparral Founder, Buck Pegg.

Chaparral Boats is located in Nashville, GA and currently employs over 600 people. Chaparral is a generous corporate citizen supporting numerous charities and sporting events in Berrien County. Chaparral has awarded more than $233,000 in academic scholarships to the sons and daughters of their employees.   The winner of this annual award is voted on by the entire Berrien County Chamber of Commerce Membership. Over 200 people attended the event.
