“Baseball’s Greatest Catcher” Johnny Bench to Deliver Keynote at Industry Breakfast

Registration for the 25th International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) is now open at www.ibexshow.com, the marine industry’s largest technical trade event. All marine industry professionals can make plans now to attend the exhibition and take part in the world-renowned training and technical education conference, September 15-17, 2015 at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, KY.

“Our education conference will offer an extensive selection of topics from in-depth technical seminars to trends impacting the marine industry – specifically designed so boat builders and others can build better boats,” said Anne Dunbar, IBEX Show Director. “In addition to our training and technical education series, we are pleased to announce that our keynote speaker for the Industry Breakfast will be Johnny Bench, the baseball legend and author.”

IBEX EDUCATION CONFERENCE:

IBEX SEMINAR SERIES: The IBEX Seminar Series offers world-renowned technical education from fundamental skills to cutting-edge, advanced training and is designed for shop floor crew, seasoned technicians, and company officers. The series offers 56 seminars hosted by leading experts specifically selected by the editors of Professional BoatBuilder magazine and the events’ education partners – ABYC, ABBRA, and NMMA.

IBEX SUPER SESSIONS (pre-conference sessions): These specialty sessions, produced by exhibitors, review in-depth, hands-on technical topics.

EXHIBITOR WORKSHOP THEATER: IBEX’s Free Workshops are taking place live on the exhibit floor. These workshops allow attendees to hear from subject matter experts on what’s new and exciting from the IBEX exhibitors.

On Tuesday morning, the event will kick off with the Industry Breakfast which will feature the presentation of the IBEX Innovation Awards, the announcement of the NMMA Hall of Fame winners, Boating Industry 2015 Mover & Shakers awards and the Exhibitor Video Awards. The keynote speaker for the event will be Baseball Legend Johnny Bench who joined the Cincinnati Reds in 1967. During his 17 seasons catching for them (1967-1983), he helped lead the team (with Pete Rose and Joe Morgan) to four National League pennants and two World Series victories. Batting right-handed, he led the National League in runs batted in three times and twice in home runs. To register for IBEX and to attend the Industry Breakfast or any of the seminars, click here.
