Master Promotions Ltd. is pleased to announce that they have purchased the Ottawa Boat Show from Canadian National Sportsmen’s Shows. This long established show held annually at Ottawa’s EY Centre is the largest boat show in the Ottawa region and features an impressive selection of boats as well as the gear and services that go with them. “This show blends well with Master Promotions Ltd.’s portfolio of marine events across Canada and we are looking forward to meeting and working with the Ottawa exhibitors in the near future and are excited to add this event to our national portfolio” says Master Promotions President, Wendell Howes. Peter Lockhart, President of Canadian National Sportsmen’s Shows commented “It’s the right time for us to pass this successful event over to a reputable, experienced and professional show producer and Master Promotions Ltd. was the obvious choice. With their extensive marine show portfolio and reputation across Canada we’re sure they are the right fit for the Ottawa Show”. Master Promotions Ltd. has been producing both pleasure and commercial marine events in Canada since 1973 including; the Halifax International Boat Show, the Moncton Boat Show, the Moncton Sportsmen’s Show, the BC Boat and Sportsmen’s Show, Fish Canada/Workboat Canada, North Atlantic Fish and Workboat Show and the Eastern Canadian Fisheries Exposition. Scott Sprague, a long time Master Promotions Ltd. consumer marine events show manager has been appointed the new show manager for the Ottawa Show. Scott’s knowledge of the marine industry in Canada spans 18 years with the Master Promotions recreational marine portfolio. His industry contacts on a national level are extensive as is his attention to detail.
