UPDATE ON JACKSON’S POINT REDEVELOPMENT

With the significant place that the Jackson’s Point Harbour occupies among Lake Simcoe cottagers and transient boaters, we wanted to follow up last week’s story to let you know that with Workshop #2 complete, you can view the Presentation from August 10th along with the Emerging Options. Township of Georgina staff and the Planning Partnership team are gathering further input on the Emerging Options up to August 24th.

Following the collection of feedback, The Planning Partnership will be hosting a Public Open House. The Preferred Harbourfront Redevelopment Plan will be available for review at an Open House on August 30, 2017 at the Ramada. Please drop in anytime between 5:00 – 7:30 pm to review a summary of input received on the options discussed at the August 10th Workshop, and additional work done by the team resulting in the Preferred Harbourfront Redevelopment Plan. The material will be on display and members of The Planning Partnership team and Town staff will be available to answer questions. The Harbourfront Redevelopment Plan will be presented to Council on September 19, 2017
