NASBLA & ABYC ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP TO OFFER NEW MARINE EDUCATION COURSES

For the first time ever – the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) is opening up two of their courses previously only available to law enforcement officials. However only ABYC members will be able to register. ABYC developed a partnership with NASBLA to give our members the ability to participate in the highly regarded curriculum.

There are only 10 more seats in the ‘Boating Accident Investigation and Analysis’ course taking place September 10th-14th and will allow you to: develop and perfect skills in order to conduct a thorough and comprehensive boating accident investigation. Students will earn 40 CEUs from ABYC, a certificate from NASBLA, and be entered into the National Database of Accident Investigators.
Additionally, they are offering a ‘GPS Forensics’ course on November 15th which will explore Modern GPS devices are capable of storing vast amounts of navigational data in the form of maps, track lines, waypoints, routes, and more. The data can be used as critical evidence in a courtroom setting.This course will provide students with the skills to extract and document critical information in a proper, efficient and legal manner that preserves the evidence. Attendees earn 8 CEUs from ABYC.
