IMBC

Jan 29, 2019

Marina conference opened with strong pre-registration numbers and sold-out pre-conference events.

The International Marina & Boatyard Conference (IMBC), owned and produced by the Association of Marina Industries (AMI), opened with strong pre-registration numbers and sold-out pre-conference events. The day opened with a Marina 101 class followed by a marina and boatyard tour taking over 120 attendees to three local facilities. The tour dovetailed into AMI’s member meeting, first-time attendee reception and exhibit hall reception sponsored by IMBC’s title sponsor, Safe Harbor Marinas. IMBC organizers expect steady walk-in traffic throughout the 3-day event. With almost 150 exhibitor booths and 19 sponsors, IMBC provides the single largest venue to connect marina owners and operators with manufacturers and suppliers. More than 800 participants were expected to attend this year’s conference, which continued through January 25 at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
