ABYC OFFERING ONLINE LEARNING SESSIONS DURING IBEX 2020

Included as part of the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) Education Conference, held virtually Sept. 29 – Oct. 2, 2020, the American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC) is offering seven premium online courses for full conference registrants. The ABYC courses will be available on-demand through Oct. 30, 2020. 

ABYC’s module-based, work-at-your-own-pace courses add significant value to the education conference and are an incredible opportunity to industry professionals. Participants will receive ABYC CEUs for the courses attended.

ABYC on-demand courses available include:

• AC Dock Pedestal Testing
• Complete Bow Thruster Installation  
• Galvanic Isolators and How to Test Them    
• Outboard Repowering Considerations          
• Outboard and Sterndrive Corrosion
• Seacocks and Thru-Hull Fittings       
• ABYC Standards Certification         

“We will continue ABYC’s tradition of providing quality content at IBEX,” said David Broadbent, ABYC education director. “ABYC transitioned its education courses to an online format and had great success doing so. Working with the IBEX team we are providing a suite of content that will benefit the industry and the IBEX audience.
