AQUILA POWER CATAMARANS ARRIVING IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST

Aquila 44

Sceptre Multihulls and its sister company Cooper Boating are pleased to announce their exclusive dealer agreement with Sino Eagle Yacht Company for the Aquila Power Catamaran line of luxury multihull boats. The agreement allows Sceptre the territorial, exclusive rights, to market and distribute the Aquila line of Power Catamarans to Oregon, Washington, British Columbia and Alaska. By extension, Cooper shall continue to pioneer instructional programs and offer charters for these fabulous new vessels. An exchange model for yacht owners to trade time with sisterships in the Caribbean is icing on this fresh new cake.

Nigel Ashman, general manager at Sceptre exclaimed: “This is a very exciting time for all of us at Sceptre. We are thrilled to be working with one of the legends in our industry, Lex Raas, and his crew at MarineMax”, he continued to say “Lex’s background includes product development which shines through on the design of these new purebred powercats.”

Lex Raas stated “The Sino Eagle Group, with help from J&J Design Group and Ant Steward (world record sailor) has allowed us to design, from concept, a new Power Catamaran that is roomier, more efficient and cost effective.” He added “we are very pleased to be entering the Pacific Northwest with a strong presence and the group at Sceptre Multihulls is very strategically placed for growth in this market”

Aaron Tweedy, taking the lead on this project within Cooper Boating, stated: “The market has asked for exactly what the Sino Eagle/Marine Max Group has built in the Aquila Power Cat. It fills a market void and we know that we will see more and more of this type of boat here in the Pacific Northwest. We are very pleased to be the region’s pioneers”

Delivery of the first 44’ Aquila Power Cat is set for spring 2015 and will be displayed at the 2015 Victoria Harbour Boat Show from April 30-May 3, 2015
