5TH ANNUAL HAMILTON BOAT FISHING AND OUTDOOR SHOW IS MAKING BIG WAVES

The Hamilton Boat Fishing and Outdoor Show is taking place at Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum March 6-8, 2015.

Southwestern Ontario’s annual boating tradition has added fishing and outdoor components to this year’s show. Not only does the show have a brand new expanded home at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum (CWHM) at Upper James and Highway 6 beside the Hamilton airport but it has also has re-branded to meet the needs of more outdoor enthusiasts. The CWHM is an expansive 108,000 sq. ft. state of the art facility which will be filled to the brim, offering a wide selection of boats, fishing accessories, RVs, power products and outdoor destination experiences than ever before.

Attendees can take a stroll through The Great Canadian Fishing Store to learn about and purchase the latest and greatest in new fishing tackle and accessories anchored by Angling Sports and The True Canadian Outdoor Store. The show will also feature Canada’s Power & Outdoor Zone because boaters aren’t just boaters. ATV’s, motorcycles, personal watercraft and the latest in power accessories will be on display and for sale at great show specials.

Another new addition to the show is Destination Outdoors which features some of the provinces top fishing and hunting camps and lodges. Book your summer getaway in the great outdoors right at the show. Visitors can also win big as well. The show is giving away a Trip a day vacation package for 3 lucky winners who attend the show. Enter to win an outdoor vacation each day of the show. The Accessory Store presented by Lakeview Marine is the show’s mariner’s marketplace with great deals on boating and marine accessories. The Confederation Marine Modellers will be on hand as they display model replicas boats both historical and current. All will be able to learn from the masters how these model replicas are hand crafted. Families alike will get their chance to earn their own Captains License, by trying their hand at driving a pint sized remote controlled replica of some of the very same boats on the show room floor. Another great feature for families this year is the experience the taming of your very own dragon. Families will have the opportunity to learn how to paddle a dragon boat. It’s Southern Ontario’s very own Dragon Boat – The Lively Dragon – which participates in events all across Southern Ontario and it will be live at the show.

This once a year spring tradition in Hamilton has free visitor parking and is a must see for all boating, fishing and outdoor enthusiasts.
