XPS·       Expanded lubricant line includes blends for all brands
·       All new care products to address all marine and powersports applications

XPS is adding new products to its portfolio with the introduction of 20 new lubricants and 21 new care products to service and maintain all types and brands of marine, on-road, off-road and snow vehicles. Dealers that carry any BRP brand will be able to use all of these new products to provide maintenance and care items for all brands of vehicles. This will provide customers with a one-stop-shop of recreational-specific lubricants and care products for all of their maintenance needs.

XPS takes it a step further by proving its products in the competition world, where everything is pushed to the limit. XPS engine oils and driveline lubricants have been subjected to the punishment of tournament fishing, the high heat of desert off-road racing and extreme cold of snowmobile races - proving performance with multiple championships. When the day is done these world class competitors want quick and easy clean-up for the next run, so XPS engineers listened and formulated washes and protectants to keep contenders at the top of their game.

4T Marine 25W-40 Synthetic Blend
·       Marine formulation with premium anti-corrosion additives.
·       For use in sterndrive, inboard and outboard engines.

2T Marine Outboard Synthetic Blend Oil
·       Oil injection or premix
·       All DI and SDI fuel injected engines.

Designed for all direct fuel injection, oil injection or premix 2-stroke outboard marine engines that require TC-W3 oil. Featuring a premium base stock and marine specific additives that provide long-lasting engine protection, this formula reduces wear, and meets the NMMA TC-W3 engine oil standard.

Eco-Friendly Hull Cleaner
Formulated to clean waterline stains, algae, rust, scum, mold and other aquatic contaminants. The eco-friendly formula removes tough waterline stains. No heavy scrubbing required.

Boat and Pontoon Aluminum Cleaner
Formulated to remove marine contaminants from painted and unpainted aluminum surfaces. This formula removes waterline scum, algae stains, mold and oxidation to restore a stunning, clean finish to aluminum without whitening or damaging a boat’s metal surfaces.

Sea-Doo Hull Cleaner
Formulated to clean waterline stains, algae, rust, scum, mold and other aquatic contaminants. Eco-friendly formula for use on all Sea-Doo hulls, including acrylic/Thermofilm®.

Wash and Wax
One-step wash and wax. Formulated to clean tough water stains, dirt and grime, and contains wax for protection and a high-gloss finish.

All Purpose Cleaner & Degreaser
Ready-to-use formula that removes the toughest dirt and grime, getting rid of mold, mildew and black streaks. Works above and below deck to prevent yellowing, remove surface stains, and eliminate odors across multiple surfaces. For use on vinyl, fiberglass, gelcoat, canvas, non-skid, rubber, plastic and more. Removes waterline marks, fish blood, and food stains with ease.

Vinyl & Plastic UV Protectant
This formula restores a boat’s color and luster while also providing UV blockers for synthetic and natural rubber, all types of vinyl, fiberglass, gelcoat and most plastic.

STUDENTS’ PERCEPTIONS OF MARINE CAREERS PROVIDE INSIGHT INTO WORKFORCE CHALLENGES

 

COVEDespite the recent growth and attention on the marine industry in Nova Scotia, a new study by the Centre for Ocean Ventures & Entrepreneurship (COVE) finds that interest in career opportunities among students remains low.
 
The Student Intentions and Perceptions Study found that only 12% of grade 6-12 English, French, and Mi’kmaq Kina’matneway students in Nova Scotia are interested in the career opportunities in the marine industry.

IBEXNMMA Receives 104 Entries From More Than 80 Companies

The 2019 IBEX Innovation Awards, managed by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) and judged by Boating Writers International (BWI), received 104 entries from more than 80 companies, the most submitted in the program’s history. The IBEX Innovation Awards honor product development and the manufacturers and suppliers who bring new, innovative products for the recreational marine industry to market.
