WEBASTO PROVIDES FRESH AIR IN NEWLY LAUNCHED COASTAL CRAFT

Webasto Coastal Craft

Nov 19, 2019

The Pacific Northwest is known for its cool, wet climate, but there are plenty of days when the sun shines and temperatures rise. That’s why when Coastal Craft drew the lines for its new 33 Express, it included a Series 60 sunroof and FCF Platinum air conditioning system from Webasto.

The Series 60 sunroof opens at the touch of a button with a smooth, automotive-style action. Fully watertight, it’s shipped tested and assembled for easy, drop-in installation and ultimate reliability. Wholly customizable, Webasto offers a wide range of sizes to fit almost any application.

Coastal Craft chose a 71″ W x 43″ L flush-mounted Webasto Series 60 sunroof and integrated it with a fixed rear clear panel to create a skylight effect that’s over seven-and-a-half feet long. This provides ample illumination and unsurpassed ventilation. The Series 60 is also available in top-mount.

The Webasto FCF Platinum air conditioning series offers six models ranging from 6,000 btu to 25,000 btu, all available in 115 or 230v. Slim and long, the compact unit is ideal for boatbuilders with limited available space or for retrofitting. It is simple to program and use via the standard display or optional remote.

The 33 Express utilizes the largest 25,000Btu/h FCF Platinum air conditioning system that offers reverse air heating. The unit is centrally located in the main salon with additional outlets serving the head and stateroom. This provides residential-style comfort, no matter the temperature outside.
