FLOW-RITE KITS SOLVE BOATBUILDING PLUMBING HOLD-UPS

Flow Rite Kits

Aug 25, 2020

Few things are as frustrating to a boatbuilder as pausing production because of a mislaid part. For plumbing-in baitwell, livewell or wakeboard ballast systems, Flow-Rite Kits solve this problem, with all components included in one easily warehoused and marked box. Custom-designed for each specific boat model and manufactured in the USA, they streamline the building process, saving time and money.

The Kits are offered in two basic versions: fishing and wake, and customized for an exact application. Boats are measured by hands-on Flow-Rite engineers who work with OEMs to build the ideal high-flow plumbing solution.

Each Flow-Rite Kit includes all needed components such as valves, pumps, timers and pre-installed fittings. Hoses are custom-cut for an exact fit, minimizing waste, and laser-etched for easy identification. The company’s proprietary Qwik-Lok™ connectors speed up installation and standardize quality by eliminating hand-tightened barb fittings. A video is at bit.ly/Qwik-Lok .

For OEMs using an ERP, Flow-Rite Kits are especially helpful in improving speed and efficiency. One box of pre-sized components represents one build. And with a single part number, inventorying is simplified.

Flow-Rite Kits are an onboard system that end-users rarely see, but make a significant positive difference in their boating experience. Due to engineered high flow rates, fish health is optimized in bait and livewells and water flows in and out of ballast tanks faster. And if the owner does see the fittings, they’re clean and organized. The appearance and reliability of a Flow-Rite system enhance an OEM’s reputation for quality.

Since 1981, vertically integrated Flow-Rite has offered a wide range of injection-molded fluid control components for the marine industry. An ISO 9001-compliant company, its products are made with green manufacturing methodology and materials.
