INDUSTRY MOURNS THE PASSING OF DAVE BROWN

Dave Brown, former President of Mercury Canada passed away October 12, 2017.

John (David) Brown was born February 13th 1934. Beloved son of the late Lloyd and Violet (Snell). Loving husband of Elsie (Marshall) for sixty-two years. 

Father of his three sons, Douglas (Bernice), Robert (Margaret) and Richard. Grandfather of Jessica, Stuart and Hannah Brown. Great-grandfather of Jax. 

Brother to the late Betty Edwards and Lorriane Sproule . Uncle and mentor to many.

As an executive with both Dalex Industries and Mercury Marine, he was a moral man with good business ethics. Dave’s contributions and his impact on the marine industry will not be forgotten. 

Visitation was held Monday October 16th, 2017. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday October 17th at 1:30pm at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, (6150 Yonge Street at Goulding south of Steeles Ave.) As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
