Jan 28, 2020

Peter Bolton, Chief Commander and Chair of the Board of Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons announced that the CPS-ECP Executive Committee has found a new National Executive Director, Mimma Spagnolo, who started at the organization on January 15, 2020.  She is fluently trilingual (French, English and Italian) and has an extensive IT and management background.

Mimma has been an executive within a multinational professional services company for almost 20 years. She led teams that implemented large, complex, IT and process improvement initiatives.  Prior to this she was both a Regional Administrative Services Officer and a Local Administrative Services Officer with Citizenship and Immigration Canada for over 10 years. She was responsible and managed teams providing administrative requirements and working with federal and provincial departments as well as other stakeholders. In addition to all this, she’s been volunteering for various organizations for 20+ years and continues to do so weekly at local charity.

Peter Bolton concluded by saying, “I am certain that Mimma with her extensive experience will fit well into our National Office and expert leadership as we move forward into the next decade.”
