Boston Whaler Receives CSI Award for Achieving Ratings Above 90 Percent

For the eighth consecutive year, Boston Whaler has received recognition from the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) for excellence in customer satisfaction and pursuit of continuous improvement. The NMMA’s CSI Award is based upon an independent survey of more than 30,000 consumers, with an average score in excess of 90 percent required to earn the recognition. Boston Whaler received the 2011 NMMA CSI Award in the Fiberglass Outboard Boats category.

“This honor validates the hard work of every Boston Whaler employee and dedicated dealer staff members who strive to deliver great products and service,” says Boston Whaler President, Tim Schiek. “Satisfying the customer is our primary focus, and the customer’s overall experience is impacted by the quality of our boats and the way our dealers go above and beyond to assure a great ownership experience.”

The NMMA’s Marine Industry CSI program recognizes marine manufacturers whose pursuit of excellence earns them overwhelming customer support. Customer satisfaction is measured independently and is based on information provided by all consumers who bought a new Boston Whaler between April 1, 2010, and March 31, 2011. Boston Whaler will be recognized along with other award recipients at the 2011 International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (IBEX) in Louisville, Ky., Oct. 17-19, 2011.
