Brunswick Names New VPs in Marketing and Planning and Operations for Recreational Boat Group
Effective November 1, Brad Anderson will lead the Marketing and Planning functions for Sea Ray, Meridian, Bayliner and Trophy brands. This newly created group focuses the group’s marketing talent across all Recreational Boat Group (RBG) brands, further accelerating our progress at building stronger brand equity with consumers. Reporting to Brad will be: Matt Guilford, Vice President, Marketing and Janet Ritchie, Director of Portfolio Planning. Supporting Matt will be Joe Cacopardo, Director of Marketing – Sea Ray and Meridian, Michael Yobe, Product Portfolio Manager – Bayliner and Trophy, and Shelby Deck Marketing Manager. Brad will report to Andy Graves, President of the Brunswick Boat Group in this role, and will also be accountable to Rob Parmentier, President – Sea Ray Group and Jeff Behan, President – Bayliner as brand leaders. Mike Burke will take on a new role, as Vice President, Sea Ray Sport Boats and Cruisers, and will continue to report directly to Rob Parmentier.
Brad has spent the past 11 years with Brunswick, most recently as President of Harris FloteBote and Cypress Cay, their pontoon businesses based in Fort Wayne, IN. Brad accepted the pontoon role in late 2009, and has doubled sales in the past two years while delivering improved operating earnings annually. Brad is a strong dealer advocate, energized by and focused on product innovation, and is passionate about boating. Brad grew up working in multiple family boat dealerships and is an avid wake boarder. Brad has a business degree from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from Northwestern University.
Gary Zimmer recently assumed the interim role of Vice President, Operations for the Recreational Boat Group. Gary’s role is now permanent, as he will oversee our five North American RBG boat plants, Dandridge support operations, Quality Systems, and EH&S activities. Gary brings extensive experience to this role, and will be instrumental in driving the continued execution of the business improvement plans now underway across the group. Gary will report to Tim Wild, Vice President, Supply Chain for BBG, and will also be accountable to Rob Parmentier and Jeff Behan as RBG brand leaders.
As a result of these organizational actions, Rob Noyes, Vice President Marketing – Sea Ray and Dwight Cobble, Vice President Sales – Sea Ray, will be leaving the organization. We greatly appreciate their many contributions, and wish both of them success in their future endeavors.
