Registration Now Open for the 2012 BC Marine Industry Conference
Presentation Lineup to Stimulate Business Growth, Sales and Personal Success
The BC Marine Trades Association (BCMTA) has announced that registration is now open for the BC Marine Industry Conference to be held November 28-29, 2012 at the River Rock Casino Resort. The theme – Business and Personal Growth – is supported by renowned headline speakers that will motivate both business owners and employees in the recreational marine sector to take the next steps to achieving business growth, sales and personal success.
Keynoting the conference is Cameron Herold, founder of BackPocket COO, best-selling business author and one of the country’s most innovative business leaders. Known for his role in taking 1-800-GOT-JUNK? from a $2 million to a $106 million company, Herold will share his tips for helping both business owners and employees go from “Zero to Good”.
GE Capital will share its industry perspective and provide an economic overview of the recreational marine industry. GE Capital is also generously co-sponsoring this year’s keynote address by Cameron Herold. GE’s participation in this year’s conference and collaboration with BCMTA demonstrates its continued commitment to growth in the recreational marine industry.
To headline day 2, attendees will scale new heights with Laurie Skreslet, the first Canadian to summit Mount Everest, who has gained deep insight into the obstacles that prevent many of us from reaching our highest goals. From the mountain to the marina, Skreslet offers a fresh perspective highlighting the parallels he recognizes between mountaineering and the challenges people face daily in the world of business.
There will be many more informative sessions including an open discussion forum, success stories from local business leaders, a tour of Mustang Survival’s new manufacturing facility, and a focus on sales and exhibitor success with Robin Johnston of Face-to-Face Marketing. Visit www.bcmta.com to learn more. The agenda continues to evolve. More speakers and presentations will be announced shortly.
The BCMTA Board of Directors is pleased to once again offer a subsidized rate of $69 per night for hotel accommodation. This is a 50% savings at the beautiful River Rock Casino Resort.
