Ed Sherman on Using A TDR to Trace On Board Electrical Faults

Date: Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. EST

Notes: Historically TDR’s have been used almost exclusively by telecom and military technicians to trace wire and cable run faults. This is in large part due to the restrictive cost of TDR instruments. In recent years that has changed with the introduction of cost effective alpha-numeric TDR devices. Today you can get into the game for under $500. After this session the attendee will understand clearly how they can save many countless hours tracing wire runs on boats. The time you’ll save following the techniques presented in this webinar will pay for the TDR in no time. If you want to learn how to really up your game in fault finding marine wiring systems you need to attend this webinar.
