MarineMax Vacations Announces One Year Anniversary

MarineMax is pleased announce their one year anniversary of the launch of MarineMax Vacations Yacht Charter Division.

MarineMax Vacations has been delivering outstanding charter vacations in the British Virgin Islands with the newest and most exceptional fleet in the market since its introduction in October 2011.  Operating from its beautiful base in Tortola, the year has been one of accelerated growth through its fleet additions of sailboats, power cats and the building of a custom 46 power catamaran to be introduced in January 2013.

The past year has also included the addition of the Yacht Ownership Program to the Vacations Yacht Charter Division.  Both sail and power yachts are available in the Ownership Program.

“We are very proud to be celebrating our one year anniversary this month.  During the past year not only have we raised the standards for yachts in the charter industry with the addition of standard water makers, electric toilets and Wi-Fi to our Dufour built sailboats and the Aquila power fleet, but also raised the level of exceptional customer service and personal attention in the delivery of charter vacations.” said Raul Bermudez, VP of Sales and Marketing at MarineMax Vacations.

“This has been a very exciting and successful first year for our charter division.” commented Lex Raas, President of Marketing, Charter and Special Initiatives.  “Our focus has been on delivering the best service and boats at a great value, which has included innovative thinking of new designs and luxury upgrades. Looking forward, there are extremely exciting times ahead for MarineMax Vacations as we continue to integrate innovative custom designs to our fleet with the 46 power catamaran, which will further raise the standards in charter yachts.  The expertise of the MarineMax Team and company-wide commitment to excellence ensures our customers will continue to enjoy the newest and most innovative fleet and service for their charter vacations.”
