Marquis Yachts Reports Rapid Growth in Chinese Market

In just a few short months, Marquis Yachts has rapidly become one of the leading luxury yacht manufacturers represented in China.  Robert VanGrunsven, President of Marquis Yachts, showcased these accomplishments on Tuesday, May 3rd with news of aggressive distribution advancement and recent retail sales success achieved by the company over the last 12 months through the new Marquis multilingual sales office in Shanghai.

In recent months, Marquis Yachts LLC has established strong distribution partnerships with Independent Dealers in Hong Kong, Hainan, Xiamen, Shenzhen and Dalian.  Through this network, Marquis Yachts confirms 8 new yachts shipped and delivered to the Chinese market already this year. “We are thrilled with the business partners that we have established this year in China.   Their commitment to the advancement of our brands and the support of our customers post delivery has been exceptional and our success can be directly attributed to them,” states VanGrunsven.

“The Chinese Market has emerged as a dominant market for our brands”, stated VanGrunsven.  Recent market events that include the Hainan Rendez-Vous and Shanghai Boat Show have showcased the magnitude of market potential for the Marquis and Carver Yacht brands with 6 new yacht construction orders received and in process.  “This is a rapidly maturing market that appreciates ultra premium products.  Our Shipyard caters to these highly discerning owners by providing a unique product and ownership experience. The vertical integration of our facilities allows for us to manufacture two very distinct brands in Marquis and Carver Yachts that are tailored specifically to the Chinese market and our customers.  We are committed to continuing our aggressive product development schedule to further advance our progress in China and the Asian Yacht markets.”

The aggressive product development continues for both Marquis and Carver Yacht in 2011.  Marquis Yachts continues with the advancement of their exciting sport series with the world debuts of their 420 and 630 Sport Bridge in 2011.  In addition, the Carver Yachts Brand also continues with their much anticipated new 54V that will make its world debut in June.
