METS 2012: Vote of Confidence for 25th METS

METS 2012 ended on a high note for a cautious industry, bringing sparkle to the year. “The atmosphere has been brilliant, with high attendance levels reinforcing the fact that the concept of METS stands firm,” said METS Domain Manager Irene Dros. “There could have been no greater vote of confidence for our 25th anniversary event.”

Vibrant networking and social events added extra buzz to the largest show to date, international visitor attendance was around 2% up on last year and exhibitor numbers – at 1,318 – dropped only marginally when compared with the record breaking 2011 figure of 1,331. Future confidence also runs high. An unprecedented 43% of exhibitors pre-booked stand space for 2013 before METS 2012 drew to a close.
