NMMA Canada and MTAs from Across the Country Address Skills Trades Shortage
Earlier this month, NMMA Canada organized a two day strategy session to address a number of important issues facing the industry across the country including the shortage of skills trades. A committee made up of MTAs and NMMA members has been created to address the problem in the coming months. The group has identified that a national standardized program needs to be established. Tim Martin from the Alberta MTA will lead the group. “Regional MTAs joined the NMMA Canada Board of Directors in a roll up their sleeves session where many important issues were identified. We were all pleased with the outcome and look forward to working together on the common goals for the industry” said Sara Anghel, NMMA Canada Executive Director.
