Outboard Motor Dealers Blue Book has New Owner/Publisher

The 6th and 7th generation of Dawsons in the marine industry have taken over ownership and publishing of the Outboard Motor Dealer Blue Book.  Glen Dawson, of Dawson Enterprises, purchased the business from Computer Boat Values this year.  Glen will continue working for Computer Boat Values producing the Boat Value Book and will be publishing the Outboard Motor Dealers Blue Book through Dawson Enterprises with the help of his daughter, Kaitlyn.

The Outboard Motor Dealers Blue Book has over 300 pages of pricing and specifications on major lines of outboard motors sold in Canada from 2012 to 1994. As in the past, resale and wholesale pricing is divided into 3 categories – fresh water, salt water and camp (rental).  The book also includes used watercraft values for Kawasaki, Polaris, Sea-Doo, Tigershark and Yamaha. The Outboard Motor Dealers Blue Book is published annually for $49.95 shipping included, with new volume discounts being offered.

Glen Dawson is the 6th generation of Dawson in the marine industry. He grew up at the family marina before graduating from the Marine Technology Recreation course at Georgian College in Orillia. Since then he has gained experience at Bay Moorings, Skyline Marina, Lefroy Harbour Resorts and the Doral Boat Factory in Owen Sound. Glen has been producing the Boat Value Book since 2003 and the Outboard Motor Dealers Blue Book since 2006 at Computer Boat Values.
