Premiere of Port Credit Yachting Super Centre Spring Open House

Port Credit Yachting Super Centre held its first Spring Open House this past weekend with some positive results. The marine industry in central Canada, as with most other regions, has had it share of weather related set backs and on Saturday the first day of the Open House was no exception, but when the sun came out on Sunday, so did the customers. Almost every participating broker was still commissioning boats all weekend trying to keep their customers happy while on one hand presenting new and brokerage boats to the potential news customers that finally emerged from a long winter and a soggy / cold spring.

Pat Sturgeon, from Pat Sturgeon Yachts Ltd., the spokesman for the boat brokers of the first annual event was pleased with the results and ended up the weekend with a few offers on the table and the sale of a Hanse 350. “This was our first time at Port Credit having all the brokers working together  to put on this type of event. There are a number of  ways that we can improve the event for next year” he said. Other participating brokers were; North South Nautical Group, Anchor Yacht Sales, True North Yachts Sales, North Lakes Yachting Inc, Crates Marine and Navy Point Yachts Sales. Also contributing were Masons Store, Bristol Marine Port Credit Harbour Marina and Canadian Yachting Magazine.
