Roch Lambert To Be Keynote Speaker at 2011 Boating Ontario Conference

Roch Lambert, Group President for Rec Boat Holdings, LLC, a subsidiary of Platinum Equity Affiliates’ PBH Marine Group, LLC in Michigan, will be the keynote speaker at the 2011 Boating Ontario Conference.  Mr. Lambert is the President of the recreational boat division, which includes the Four Winns, Glastron, and Wellcraft brands.

Roch Lambert’s keynote address will be extremely interesting as he has been one of the key strategists in the revitalization of the brands Four Winns, Glastron and Wellcraft after they were acquired out of bankruptcy in early 2010, along with the fishing boat brands, Ranger, Stratos, and Champion.

Prior to this position, Lambert was with Quebec-based BRP (Bombardier Recreational Products) holding numerous management positions from 1994 – 2009.  His most recent position being vice president and general manager of the Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo and Evinrude division of BRP US, Inc. (formerly Bombardier Inc.).  He also had served as vice president and general manager of BRP’s Evinrude and Johnson outboard engines division rebuilding the brands from the OMC bankruptcy of 2000.

Roch Lambert’s many accomplishments during his time with BRP are detailed in the October 2009 edition of Boating Industry Canada, at http://www.boatingindustry-digital.com/boatingindustry/200910#pg1

Mr. Lambert will be addressing the Conference on Tuesday December 6, 2011.  We encourage everyone to capitalize on this opportunity to hear Mr. Lambert share his unique industry insights on rebuilding a brand after bankruptcy, leading corporate restructuring initiatives and operational turnarounds.
