STERN THRUSTER MAKES IDEAL WAKEBOARD PARTNER

Side Shift

The tradeoff for smooth water behind wakeboard boats is often reduced maneuverability of the craft. With the new Sideshift WB230 stern thruster comes a revolutionary concept: boat control equal to a stern drive, with no wake interference. Boatbuilders can provide additional customer value and convenience with this OEM product.

This new stern thruster affords unparalleled maneuverability around docks and trailers. It also enables drivers to quickly move the back of the boat to pick up dropped wakeboarders. Owners save gas and time, as they no longer have to circle back around into position.

Traditional wakeboard inboard propulsion systems with their large prop and small rudder can be challenging to operate, especially for those accustomed to stern drives. The Sideshift WB230 changes this. A powerful water-cooled 12V motor delivers a long run time, while the heavy-duty 8" aluminum propeller affords smooth, quiet operation. Because the WB230 thruster rises out of the water when the boat planes, it creates no drag. Anode-protected and finished with anti-fouling paint over epoxy primer, the unit is corrosion-resistant.

Years of tested and proven thruster technology back this new Sideshift design. The boatbuilder benefits from a mature development platform and superb reliability. Sideshift offers customized technical drawings for builder use, making it easy to add the WB230 stern thruster.
