Job Summary
GBL Boat Club is a private, 200-slip member-owned marina seeking a hands-on, full-time Marina Manager to start in the Fall of 2025. This live-in role includes managing daily operations during the boating season and overseeing maintenance and planning in the off-season.
Your Skills & Knowledge
•3–5 years in marina/property management.
•Strong communication skills with a service-oriented approach.
•Experience supervising seasonal team and coordinating vendors/contractors
•Proficient with basic office tools (Excel, email).
•Knowledge of safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
•Practical skills for troubleshooting and hands-on maintenance preferred.
•Boating experience strongly preferred.
Your Primary Responsibilities
•Manage daily marina operations (docks, utilities, grounds, staff).
•Ensure smooth start-up of marina services each spring.
•Supervise seasonal staff and contractors, including hiring, scheduling, training, and performance oversight.
•Oversee winterizing, including boat storage, and shutdown of marina systems, including docks, fuel systems and water lines.
•Oversee maintenance, repairs, and property security year-round.
•Liaise with members, vendors, and the Board of Directors.
•Ensure safety and environmental compliance
