Mar 21, 2023

Mercury Marine, a division of Brunswick Corporation (NYSE: BC), continues its strong performance at the largest boat shows around the world with an outstanding showing at the recent Dubai International Boat Show. Again this year, Mercury had the most outboard engines on display during the show capturing close to 85% market share both on-water and on-land. In addition, Mercury showcased the new 5.7L V10 350 and 400hp Verado engines and the Avator 7.5e electric outboard for the first time in the Middle East, as well as many Mercury Racing outboards including the new V10 400R engine.

Mercury Racing General Manager Stuart Halley and Director of Customer Experience Steve Miller joined the show to celebrate Racing’s 50th Anniversary with partners in the UAE. Distributors Delma Marine and Extreme Marine in the UAE continuing to position Mercury and Mercury Racing, respectively, as brands of choice.

“With such a large base of powerboat enthusiasts in the Middle East, it is not surprising why the Mercury Racing brand does so well here,” said Steve Miller, Mercury Racing director of customer experience. “The Dubai Boat Show is amazing. The products on display here are modern, innovative, and premium all the way. We were especially excited to showcase our new V10 400R racing engines both on the water and at the Extreme Marine display.”

This year’s show featured 175 boats and watercrafts and attracted more than 30,000 visitors.

Last month, for the fifth consecutive year, Mercury Marine also had more outboard engines than any other manufacturer at the Miami International Boat Show, accounting for more than 55% of all outboards across the multiple show venues – more than 20 share points ahead of the closest competitor. This is the highest outboard share Mercury has achieved in Miami as rapid adoption of the new V10 and V12 engines further elevates its presence in shows and markets across the world.
