THE HALIFAX INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW RETURNS THURSDAY FEB 21, 2013

Halifax Boat Show

The Halifax International Boat Show returns this Thursday thru Sunday at Exhibition Park in Halifax. This event encompasses the largest and most sought after brands of boats and boating equipment in Eastern Canada and it’s all under one roof.

The Halifax International Boat Show is the largest boat show in Eastern Canada. Exhibited boats range in size from 6' to over 30' and include runabouts, cruisers, motor yachts, sail boats, sailing dinghies, pontoon boats, bass boats, inflatables, RIBS and personal water craft.

“For nearly four decades this show has not disappointed,” says Show Manager Scott Sprague. “This high caliber event will draw boating enthusiasts from all over the Maritimes and has become the must-attend event for industry in Eastern Canada,” says Sprague.

“We are very excited for 2013 and will be presenting a show with one of the most extensive and diverse lines of boats that the region has seen in quite some time,” says Sprague.

Some exciting new additions include Malibu Boats, Pursuit, Premier, Palm Beach, Ranger Tugs and the Trailerable Catboat from Com-Pac Yacht, just to name a few!

There is also a great new opportunity to avoid line-ups at the door. For the first time ever, the Halifax International Boat Show is offering on-line ticketing! Buy and print your tickets from the comfort of your PC and you could win a Helly Hansen PFD! Visit our website for more details.

There are exhibits of marine equipment, marine engines, diesel, gas, outboard and inboard, of marine electronics and accessories, of docks and dock builders. Seminars and Panel Discussions about boating are on-going during the show and The Bluenose Coastal Action Foundation is bringing their touch tank and talking about the coastal environment.

The show is a place for boaters to SHOP! Marine chandleries bring their stores to this show, and there are great deals as well as all the latest gear backed up by product manufacturers and distributors. It’s also a great time to buy a boat as Dealers and Manufacturers offer super show specials.
