NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN FOR THE BOATING ONTARIO AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE

With a more streamlined approach the nomination process is now simpler than ever! The Boating Ontario Awards of Excellence provide the opportunity to recognize individuals or businesses that significantly contribute to the recreational boating industry throughout Ontario and the role that they have played shaping and re-shaping the industry, continually striving for excellence. 

If you know an individual or a business that deserves to be recognized for their contribution, please submit your nomination today.  Nominations will be accepted up to October 23rd, 2018.

There are four distinct Boating Ontario Awards of Excellence:

  • The W. J. Robertson Award recognizes an individual who has demonstrated a commitment to the advancement of and appreciation for the Boating Ontario Association.
  • The Gord Blake Visionary Award recognizes an individual or business who have made a significant contribution in the field of innovation or successfully leveraged an opportunity for visionary leadership within the boating industry.
  • The Robert Eaton Environmental Award celebrates individuals or businesses who are dedicated to environmental responsibility and stewardship while contributing their time and resources to advancing their efforts in the Boating Ontario Clean Marine program.
  • The President’s Award recognizes an individual who strives for excellence and whose passion creates positive long-term impacts on the boating industry.

To nominate an individual or business for a Boating Ontario Award of Excellence, please visit the conference website here, fill out the nomination form for the applicable award and email it to Ashleigh Andrews, aandrews@boatinontario.ca no later than October 23, 2018. 

Winners will be announced at the 2018 Boating Ontario Conference Awards Gala being held at the Village Conference Centre, The Blue Mountains, Ontario, November 26-28, 2018.
