Ranger Boats Customer SatisfactionNational Marine Manufacturers Association honors Ranger Boats for world-class quality, customer service with two coveted CSI Awards

Ranger Boats, the world's premier performance fishing boat brand, has been recognized for excellence in customer satisfaction by the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA), receiving 2019 Marine Industry Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) Awards in the Fiberglass Outboard Boats and the Fiberglass Bass Boats categories.

Ranger was recognized thanks to positive feedback provided by its customers. To qualify, Ranger Boats customers gave the brand an independently measured standard-of-excellence rating in customer satisfaction above 90 on a 100-point scale, based on customers purchasing a new boat or engine between Jan. 1 and Dec. 31, 2019. Ranger Boats created its legendary brand by delivering unparalleled build quality, innovation and strength for more than 50 years. The superior customer satisfaction delivered by Ranger Boats is validated by these ratings from its passionate group of owners.

"The Ranger Boats legacy of quality craftsmanship and cutting-edge features built the most sought-after fishing boat brand in the industry," said Bass Pro Shops founder Johnny Morris, who revolutionized the boating industry in 1978 by introducing the world's first professionally rigged and nationally marketed boat, motor and trailer packages. "The CSI Awards are a tribute to the craftspeople, associates and dealers who provide quality, value and support to our customers every day."

First created in 2001, the CSI Awards were recently announced at the 2020 Miami International Boat Show and recognize top-rated marine industry brands that actively measure customer satisfaction and pursue continuous improvement to better serve their customers.

In addition to Ranger Boats, five other iconic White River Marine Group brands across four categories earned prestigious CSI Awards for 2019, including:
• TRACKER: Aluminum Outboard Boats
• SUN TRACKER: Pontoon Boats
• NITRO: Fiberglass Outboard Boats and Fiberglass Bass Boats
• TAHOE: Fiberglass Outboard Boats and Deck Boats
• TRITON: Fiberglass Outboard Boats

White River Marine Group, a division of Bass Pro Group, is the largest builder of fishing and recreational boats in the world by volume. Its brands have a long history of game-changing innovations and quality products. The boating industry has enjoyed 10 consecutive years of growth as White River Marine Group continues to build more boats in the world than any other company. In 2019, White River Marine Group's market share reached its highest level ever. For more information, visit www.whiterivermg.com .

UPDATE ON LUXURY TAX OPPOSITION

Luxury Tax OppositionFollowing its seventh annual “Day on the Hill” lobby day in Ottawa last month, NMMA Canada is continuing to advocate against the federal government’s proposed 10% luxury tax on recreational boats over $100,000. History has shown that similar taxes have failed to raise the expected revenue for governments while putting thousands of rural and small-town jobs at risk. The industry believes there are other financial measures that can be applied instead of a tax that would be beneficial to government and less impactful on industry.

HUBBELL CIRCUIT TESTER VERIFIES CONNECTIONS WITH EASE

Hubbell Circuit TesterChecking shorepower connections for proper wiring can be time-consuming, especially when working in dimly-lit or difficult-to-access locations. An innovative UL- and CL-listed Twist-Lock Circuit Tester from Hubbell Marine speeds this process by using simple LED visual codes to indicate electrical circuit conditions.

The patented, compact design of the HBLT26CM11 Twist-Lock Circuit Tester closely resembles a standard Hubbell Twist-Lock Plug. Once inserted into a 30A/125V receptacle, its LED back panel immediately displays whether the circuit is complete and properly wired.
