MacDonald Turkey Point Marina presents $17,000 to the London Children’s Health Foundation

MacDonald Turkey Point Cheque

Nov 30, 2021

On Thursday, October 28th, 2021, Brad Thomson, General Manager of MacDonald Turkey Point Marina, presented a cheque for $17,000 to Jennifer Baxter of the London Children’s Health Foundation. Also on hand for the cheque presentation were Marina President Danny MacDonald, Julie Thomson, and Norfolk County Councillor Chris VanPassen.

Our 2021 Fundraising season came to a close in September following our 21st annual Bass Tournament. This year’s fundraising events of Silent Auctions, Concert in the Park, and Bass Tournament contributed to this amazing $17,000 donation. This brings our 21-year fundraising total to $171,450. WOW!!

The London Children’s Hospital cares for more than 1,100 children from Norfolk and Oxford County each year. Brad Thomson, The Thomson Family, and everyone at MacDonald Turkey Point Marina are very grateful for the continued support of all our sponsors, competitors, volunteers, and supporters over the past 21 years. This year’s success is due to our 2021 sponsors featured in this letter’s border.

A child’s health is the greatest gift. We are looking forward to the 22nd annual London Children’s Health Foundation Charity Tournament Sunday, September 11th, 2022. This is truly fishing for a cause. Come join us and experience the thrill and excitement of tournament fishing.

On behalf of the Thomson Family and MacDonald Turkey Point Marina…………… THANK YOU!
