The Bateau à flot de Québec and Montreal events were a great success!

For this 5th edition of the Bateau à flot de Québec, the sun was there and made the event most enjoyable for visitors and exhibitors. It was in Quebec City, more precisely at the Louise Basin of the Port of Quebec Marina, that the event was held.

814 visitors met on September 9-10-11, 2022 to visit and try forty boats of all types! There was something for everyone, including tyres, cruisers, pontoons, wake boats and sailing!

“It was the perfect opportunity for many visitors to confirm their interest in a particular boat and to specify their choice. The Marina of the Port of Quebec was well animated, not only with the tests of boats that crossed the lock, but also with the tests of an electric surfboard designed in Quebec. Some brave people said to themselves: I’m getting on board!” says Josée Côté, Executive Director of Nautisme Québec.

Bateau à flot de Montréal As for Montreal, it was the 13th edition of the Bateau à flot at the Old Port of Montreal, from September 22 to 25, 2022. If it was cooler at the start, the sun also showed its nose, warming the 2403 visitors! The diversity of the boats was impressive with about 100 boats! Boating enthusiasts could visit small boats, as well as large luxury yachts up to 62 feet with upper catwalk or two hulls, to magnificent sailboats.

“In both Quebec City and Montreal, the enthusiasm was great. The visitors were all smiles and many realized their dream! Sales are counted in millions, to the delight of all,” says Ms. Côté.
