Based out of Midland, ON, Bayshore Yacht Sales expands its reach across Georgian Bay and Lake Simcoe, offering 7 boat lines and hiring industry-leading yacht broker Ryan Wheeler to support the team’s growth!

Since the acquisition in August 2019, Bayshore Yacht Sales (BYS) has grown to become the Sales Division for Maple Leaf Marinas (MLM) that services the Georgian Bay and Lake Simcoe markets reporting to Steve Tait VP of Sales for MLM. With the influx of boaters since the pandemic, Bayshore Yacht Sales has had the opportunity to expand its reach to the nine resort-style marinas under the MLM umbrella.

With demand for boats in Ontario reaching a record high, it was an obvious next step for Bayshore Yacht Sales to branch into new boat sales. According to Vice President Steve Tait, “The addition of these boat lines will enhance the company’s business model, which is based predominantly on excellent customer service that guides boaters through their purchase easily and effectively. After all, boating is about fun and acquiring one shouldn’t be any different” The boat lines found at Bayshore Yacht Sales are Parker Boats, Barletta Pontoons, Cobalt Boats, Cutwater, Ranger Tugs, Scout Boats, Rossiter Boats and the latest addition, award-winning towboat manufacturer MasterCraft Boats.

Bayshore Yacht Sales recently brought on board industry-leading yacht broker Ryan Wheeler to assist the team in response to the considerable growth. Ryan brings 25+ years of experience in the boating industry, an educational background in Marine Technology and Engineering, and extensive yacht brokerage and new boat sales knowledge.

“I admire Bayshore Yacht Sales’ growth, and I am excited to join the team,” says Ryan Wheeler, Sales Manager BYS. “I bring a large and loyal customer base, several years as a top producing yacht broker, and a passion for building lasting relationships with customers and other industry professionals. I am looking forward to supporting the BYS team and seeing continued growth through years to come.”
