Start Benefitting Right Now from National Safe Boating Awareness Week, May 17 to 23, 2025

CSBC

Apr 22, 2025

For Safe Boating Awareness Week 2025, which is May 17-23, resources are available from the Canadian Safe Boating Council (CSBC) and Transport Canada. The CSBC website offers information, media content, and expert resources for promoting safe boating. Transport Canada’s website provides boating safety guidelines and regulations, including the Safe Boating Guide.

Of course, we should all promote safe boating all year ‘round and being proactive with your local media outlets is a great way to start the season off on the right foot. You can also gain valuable publicity for your marine business.

The resources are all available for you to download and use. Check out the websites (above) and then reach out to the local newspaper, TV and radio station and offer your own knowledge and time for media interviews. All the resource materials you could need are available FREE from the CSBC website and from Transport Canada’s website. As well, you’ll find more great boat safety information at www.BetterBoater.ca  or www.STARTBoating.ca
