FAREWELL TO CHRIS CUDDY

The boating community would like to extend its condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of Christopher (Chris) Cuddy who passed away on Tuesday June 3, 2014.  Chris worked at various marinas including Marina Quay West, Toronto Island Marina, Peterborough Marina, and most recently Port Elgin Harbour in 2013.
 
Born June 5, 1970, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 3, 2014. Christopher is survived by his father Bryan, Sheri and their son Liam, his brother Jeffrey and his wife Amanda and their son Nathan. Predeceased by his mother Elizabeth and aunt Isabel. A memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Mental Health Association. Duncan Peacock, resident of Kitimat BC and member of Kitimat Marine Search and Rescue and RCMSAR Unit 63, has been awarded the 12th annual Tim Jones Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Outdoor Community in British Columbia.

Peacock has been a member of Kitimat Marine Search and Rescue and RCMSAR Unit 63 for 31 years, making him one of the longest-serving members in the province.
