Godfrey Pontoons

May 7, 2024

Godfrey Pontoon Boats, a leading manufacturer of pontoons built with enduring quality and superior craftsmanship, announced that their XP Series pontoon has been named one of Boating Industry’s 2024 Top Products.

To be eligible for consideration, products or services must have been introduced or significantly updated since January 2023. With hundreds of well-qualified submissions from manufacturers across every segment of the industry for consideration, selecting top products was no easy task for the Boating Industry editorial team. The winning products were chosen based on many factors such as their impact on the industry, innovation and how they advanced their category.

“The XP Series is representative of our desire to constantly push the envelope with the goal of enhancing the customer experience,” said Lori Szczypiorski, Product Manager, Godfrey Pontoon Boats. “To be recognized in this way and for the XP specifically by Boating Industry is an honor. We’re grateful that they appreciated that this model offers the best of everything that can be loaded onto a pontoon.”

The pinnacle of sport luxury, perfectly blended with performance, the XP is packed with the most advanced technology available, offering modern boaters the highest level of comfort on the water. The modern hand-wrapped helm features a dedicated wide-screen 12-inch display, and 7-inch touchscreen displays, which controls everything from the JL Audio sound system to the RGB LED accent lighting and even which of the two forward facing cameras are shown, making close quarters navigation a breeze. For windshield-specific models, the co-captain’s seat is also equipped with a 7-inch display allowing control of audio and RGB lighting, which is the industry’s first application of Digitally Addressable Lighting, capable of unmatched customization.

For added comfort, the XP is appointed with a folding, action-powered Bimini that allows for 11 feet of shade coverage, optional Cool Touch seating, lockable storage compartments and cooled cupholders and plenty of USB-C chargers throughout.

The XP’s exterior and interior are completely customizable, including a variety of color selections for the exterior, vinyl, vinyl accents and flooring. The sound system works seamlessly with the RGB lighting for the ultimate in on-the-water entertainment, with 2100 Watts RMS standard or 2350 Watts RMS with optional tower speakers and Integrated high and low beam docking lights are standard. The 2024 Godfrey XP is available in two lengths across six layouts, in either single- or twin-engine configurations.
