JEFF BARNES TO JOIN OLD MILL MARINA AS DIRECTOR OF SALES AND MARKETING AND GENERAL MANAGER

Jeff Barnes: Old Mill Marina

Old Mill Marina is pleased to announce today that Jeff Barnes joined Old Mill Marina as Director, Sales & Marketing and General Manager of the new Old Mill Marina sales location on Lake of Bays.

“We are excited to have Jeff join us at this stage in our company’s growth,” says Rob Walisser, President of Old Mill Marina. “Jeff brings a wealth of boat sales and marketing expertise to Old Mill Marina, plus over ten years of experience in marina management. Jeff is the right person to take the helm at our new Lake of Bays location and guide its growth going forward. We believe Jeff is a great fit with our mission, which is to enhance the cottage experience in Dorset.”

“I am really looking forward to working with the team at Old Mill Marina,” states Jeff Barnes. “This is a dynamic, young, and growth-focused organization. 1092 Main Street is a prime location for a marina in Dorset, and I look forward to helping establish Old Mill Marina Lake of Bays as the premiere boating destination on Lake of Bays.” “With the significant investments Old Mill Marina has made in the storage and service facilities at the Kawagama Lake location over the past 24 months,” continues Barnes, “we have the infrastructure in place to support this new marina and service customer needs on Lake of Bays. The downtown Dorset location is ripe for development, and we have already started the planning process to expand our docking facilities in time for Spring 2013.” “Earlier today, we announced that Old Mill Marina is Ontario’s newest dealer for Tigé Boats and for Rinker Boats,” adds Barnes. “Tigé Boats is the 2012 WSIA Buzz Brand of the Year with their focus on ‘the evolution of wake surfing’, and Rinker Boats are a great value, offering a fantastic range of family bow riders. Combining these two brands with our existing Princecraft Boats and Mercury Outboards lines, Old Mill Marina now offers a full range of boats to Lake of Bays, Muskoka and Haliburton cottagers.”

Old Mill Marina will be at the Toronto Boat Show from January 11
to 20, 2013. Be sure to visit the Tigé booth (740), the Rinker booth
(617) and the Princecraft booth (1101).
