For the first time, the Boating Ontario Conference is offering training sessions specifically directed at office managers and service staff within the Recreational Marine Industry.  The sessions are four hours long and include lunch and access to the Boating Ontario Trade Show.

It’s time to focus on your office managers as they play a key role in your business.  

Office managers are often responsible for overseeing office operations and management, social media and website updating, insurance claims, as well as customer relations.  

 Attendees will learn about: 

 

Marketing through social media
Computer programs specific to our industry
POS equipment
Handling an insurance claim on behalf of your business
Customer relations

SERVICE DEPARTMENT

Running an efficient and effective serve department is more than just servicing your customer’s boats. Ken MacDonald has spent years developing and refining his approach to running a successful service department and will be delivering this four hour seminar to service department staff and managers.  He will be focusing on:

service scheduling, 

changing technology, 

skilled labour shortage, 

seasonality of the business, 

decreasing productivity, 

increasing labour costs, and 

regulations.

Delegates will leave this training session with increased knowledge of time management, effective communication, and how to retain great staff.
