AMI PRESENTS BOARD OF DIRECTORS AT IMBC

Board of directors announced at annual marina conference

The Association of Marina Industries (AMI) elected its 2015 Officers and Directors at its annual International Marina & Boatyard Conference (IMBC) held January 28 –30, 2015 in Tampa, Florida

Jeff Rose, Certified Marina Manager (CMM) of Marinas International was reappointed Chair; Brad Gross, CMM, of OC Dana Point Harbor was reappointed Vice-President; Mick Webber of HydroHoist Marine Group was reappointed Secretary; and Joe Riley, CMM, of Windmill Marina Association, Inc. was reappointed Treasurer.

This year, three new members were elected to the 2015 Board of Directors for a three-year term. This includes Kevin Thompson of Bellingham Marine; Mitch Jones of Anchor South, LLC; and Michael Short of Vancouver Marina. The AMI Board bids farewell to Steve Ryder of Bellingham Marine, Mark Stafford of Marinas International, and Randy Short of Almar Marinas.

Thompson, Jones, and Short will join the existing Board of Directors including Jim Frye, CMM, of Westrec Marinas; Gary Groenewold, CMM, of Harbour Towne Marina; Keith Knowlton, CMM, of Riverside Yacht Club; Ken MacDonald, CMM, of Bay Port Yachting Center; Chris Petty of Suntex Waterfront Management; T. Clarke Smith III of Norman Spencer Marine; Ronaldo Souza, CMM, of Westrec Marinas; Austin Cameron of VIP Marina, LLC; Ray Fernandez of Bridge Marina; John Chiazza of Wells Fargo Insurance Services, Inc.; and Bob Evans of Dillon Marina.
