Carmanah Technologies Corporation (TSX: CMH) and SOL, Inc., a privately-owned Florida-based company, todayjointly announced that Carmanah has entered into a binding Letter of Intent with SOL, Inc. and MichaelSonnenfeldt. Mr. Sonnenfeldt is a director of Carmanah and the controlling shareholder of SOL. Under the termsof the Letter of Intent, Carmanah has agreed to buy all outstanding shares of SOL owned by Mr. Sonnenfeldt andthe parties intend to take the necessary steps to ensure that all other owners of SOL shares prior to closingenter into a definitive agreement to sell their shares to Carmanah. As a result, upon completion of thetransaction, SOL will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Carmanah.

DELTA-BASED ZODIAC HURRICANE AWARDED MULTI-MILLION-DOLLAR CONTRACT BY THE FRENCH NAVY
On Monday morning, Zodiac Hurricane Technologies, Inc. hosted French Ambassador Philippe Zeller and Jean-Christophe Fleury, consul of France in Vancouver. The pair visited in recognition of a large contract the company was awarded to supply the French Navy Commandos with up to 20 of its ECUME RIB (rigid inflatable boat) vessels. So far, 15 boats have been ordered totaling about $9 million. -

The Boating Ontario Dealer Association held their Best Practices workshop on Thursday, March 27 at the Nottawasaga Inn & Resort in Alliston, Ontario with some 80 people in attendance. Most of the biggest and best-known dealers were represented in the room and the interest level was high for the presentations.

Hans Fogh: March 8, 1938 – March 14, 2014
It is with great sadness that we announce Hans Fogh passed away peacefully from Creutzfeldt Jakob Disease on March 14, 2014 in Toronto. A fighter to the end, Hans leaves Kirsten, his beloved wife and safe harbour for 49 years, his two sons, Morten (Debbie) and Thomas (Andrea) and his darling grandchildren, Sarah, Curtis, Marcus, Kaia and Lucas with whom he spent many joyful hours as “Farfar” attending their numerous special events. Hans is also survived by his family in Denmark, brother Jens Christian, sisters Gitte (Esben) and Annegrette (Christian). Hans leaves behind a niece in Canada, Pia (Danny) daughter of his late sister Inger (John Eastwood)

LEE GORDON JOINS MERCURY MARINE AS DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC RELATIONS
Mercury Marine announces the addition of Lee Gordon as Director of Public Relations. Gordon comes to Mercury with an accomplished career as a television anchor for CBS and FOX affiliates across the country, including Tallahassee and Jacksonville, Fla. For the past few years, he has been the director of corporate communications at 180 Communications, a public relations firm in Tallahassee. Gordon also spent time as a sideline reporter for the NFL on FOX. -
