BOOT DÜSSELDORF WATER SPORTS TRADE FAIR POSTPONED
boot Düsseldorf 2021 will now be held from 17th to 25th April. The original dates from 23 to 31 January could not be used due to the ongoing high infection numbers across all of Europe. Messe Düsseldorf has postponed boot after close consultation with its partners and exhibitors who endorse this decision and have opted in favour of the new dates.

MRAA TO GIVE OUT ANNUAL AWARDS AT DEALER WEEK STARTING DECEMBER 8
Dealer Week will play host to three days of awards next week, sponsored by Kicker Marine Audio. The Dealer Week Awards Celebration will take place during the day on Dec. 8, 9, and 10. Conference attendees will be treated to three lively awards presentations that will reveal 2020’s Great Dealerships to Work For, the Darlene Briggs Woman of the Year.

CTV News crews were in Midland, Ontario to document the operation of Seabins at some of the Maple Leaf Marinas locations in Georgian Bay. For over 70 years, the Toronto Sportsmen’s Show has been a favourite for thousands of outdoor enthusiasts and welcomes hundreds of exhibitors annually. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, we have decided to postpone next year’s show, which was scheduled to take place March 18-21, 2021 at the International Centre.

THE SMALL SHIP TOUR OPERATORS ASSOCIATION OF BC COLLECT 127 TONNES OF MARINE WASTE IMPACTING THE GREAT BEAR RAINFOREST
The Marine Debris Recovery Initiative (MDRI), a collaboration with the Clean Coast, Clean Waters Fund (Ministry of Environment & Climate Change Strategy), the Small Ship Tour Operators Association of British Columbia (SSTOA) and Coastal First Nations, have completed a 6 weeks marine debris clean up expedition, covering over 1000 kilometers of remote coastline.
