With less than one week left before we gather at Blue, the excitement is in overdrive. Monday evening’s Tailgate Reception & Exhibitor Extravaganza will open the doors to the beginning of 3 days of great networking, learning and celebration.

Tuesday will be jam packed, starting off with Valerie Ziebron talking about PROFIT as we continue our focus on education that will help all members be the best that they can be. Tuesdays’ breakout sessions answer that call with Clean Marine, TIAO Advocacy update, succession planning and developing health and safety programs. Tuesday will close with Valerie guiding us into How Businesses that Have Fun, Get More Done!

Don’t forget your formal wear as we celebrate another year and give awards to four members of the association on Tuesday night. It is sure to be a magical evening.

Wednesday opens with a talk from the NMMA regarding the taxes and tariffs issue and Giselle Kovary will take a closer look at the multiple generations that make up our workforce. In between, take part in the second round of breakouts with HUB International providing a program update. There will be talks about Impacts of the by-law changes in the trade meeting, how to take advantage of Employment Ontario Initiatives and leveraging a partnership with Parks Canada.

To end the day, the hot button topic of Cannabis in your business will be discussed. This stimulating closing keynote will include both the employees and customers/guests perspectives and how to handle both. Sit down and enjoy your final lunch or grab it on the go, either way you’ll be home by dinner!
