OVER 600 POWERBOATS SET TO DEBUT AT THE UNITED STATES POWERBOAT SHOW

US Powerboat Show

Sept 17, 2019

The United States Powerboat Show on October 3-6, 2019 in Annapolis Md. will host several more premiering boats than in previous years. From Euro designed boats, wake boats, and weekend cruisers, to multi outboard-powered boats and large blue-water luxury yachts, the United States Powerboat Show is the place to experience brand new boats of every size, style, and manufacturer.

Electronics and navigation systems, fly-by-wire electronic interfaces, joy-stick, helm master steering technology, pod drives, stabilization systems, and every other imaginable new boating gadget will be on display, with many available for demo. Of all the major boating trends developing over that last decade, the power and propulsion story is the most noteworthy– with over seventy percent of these new boats being built with outboards, powered by 2-5 high-velocity engines fueled by gas or diesel, and electric and hybrid becoming options. The infinitely maneuverable pods, operated by joy-sticks and thrusters, have nearly replaced direct shaft and propeller drives. Likewise, the recent trend toward center console fishing and pleasure boats will continue at the show with well over 150 boats on display alongside the more recent update to the dual-console model.

See notable newcomers including Princess Yachts’ Mid Atlantic Premier of the new V50, a union of Grande Yachts and Chris Craft boats in their debut of Launch 35 GT, Pursuit’s introduction to another award-winning center console – the all-new DC 266, and Absolute Yachts’ 58 Novetta. Tiara Yachts and North Point Yacht Sales will also have an impressive lineup of 4 Tiara Yachts including the 44, 39, and 49 Coupe, plus the 39 Open. Regulator Marine will have the newest addition to their offshore fleet, the 26XO and can be seen at the Bluewater Yacht Sales display on Dock A.

These boats and more will be on display at this year’s United States Powerboat Show in Annapolis, October 3-6th, “It is an exciting time in the boating industry as the annual fall and winter shows approach, and Annapolis is the place to be and experience the best of the boating life in October,” says President Paul Jacobs.
