ADVANCED MARINA MANAGEMENT COURSE DECEMBER 6 -11, 2020, JACKSONVILLE, FL

The Advanced Marina Management (AMM) program is a profit-management training course designed for senior marina professionals. Through small groups, interactive workshops, and specific case studies, the AMM course examines such topics as:
 
·    Profit-center management/Capital Budgeting
·    Regulations and permitting
·    Marina reconstruction and retrofit
·    Marina law/risk management and loss control (individual contract review)  
·    Improving the quality and value of services
·    Policy and procedure manuals
·    Business strategy 
·    Marketing and Promotion
·    Strategic Planning
 
The core to this program is a case study in which students are set into groups and tasked with redesigning an actual marina, which has been pre-selected as the case study site. Students are then required to present their redesign in front of a panel of industry leaders.
 
The AMM offers its graduates:
·    National and international business perspective on management issues
·    Long-term network of international contacts to rely on in the future
·    Answers and new solutions to traditional management challenges
·    Long-lasting network of contacts in the industry – a major benefit for years to come New perspective and fresh approach to management.
 
 Course Prerequisites:
·    Successful completion of the Intermediate Marina Management Course (IMM) 
·    At least three years experience as a Senior Marina Manager
·    Manage a marina of 100 or more berths and at least $1.0 million in gross revenues
·    Responsible for the operations, administration, and financial performance of the marina (and boatyard if applicable).
·    Limit: 18 students.
