Kropf Industrial, manufacturer of theĀ industry-leading Conolift line of boat handling equipment, is excited toĀ announce that its first all-electric travel lift is now in service at a YachtĀ Club in Ontario. The advanced design hasĀ eliminated both the diesel power unitĀ and the hydraulic system, yielding a simplified machine that is quiet, and freeĀ from emissions and the risk of spills.

A first for North America, thisĀ all-electric lift with a capacity of 40 tons has already been through aĀ rigorous testing program at Kropfā€™s facility. It is now being utilized by aĀ Toronto-area marine facility for their haul-out and launchĀ operations, providingĀ opportunities for final refinements and demonstrating the performance of theĀ unit in a range of conditions. To date, the lift has exceeded expectations forĀ ease of use, reliability, battery life and lowĀ charging times.

The all-electric design of this lift hasĀ completely eliminated both the internal-combustion engine and the hydraulicĀ system, which eliminates both exhaust emissions and the need for fluids and oils. Reliable,Ā proven technologies wereĀ utilized throughout the design, ensuring safe,Ā long-term operations and ease of maintenance and service. The low-voltageĀ battery packs are safe, proven and easy to maintain.

The lift is a fully-featured machine withĀ all of the options available on a diesel-powered unit, including proportionalĀ controls, two-speed winches, sling positioners and fully radio-remoteĀ operation. Diagnostics, machine statusĀ updates and service are simplifiedĀ through use of a large external touchscreen, and the machine can be remotelyĀ diagnosed and serviced through connection to a Wi-Fi network.

The advanced all-electric design is pairedĀ with Conoliftā€™s proven fabrication methods, robust design and high-qualityĀ finishes. The machine offers quiet and safe operation without emissions,Ā without the risk of spills, and withĀ lower service requirements than aĀ traditional diesel/hydraulic unit.
