The International Marina & Boat Yard conference, a premier annual event, where over 800 industry leaders gather in one place for education and training, networking, and one-stop shopping in the expansive exhibit hall. The conference takes place January 23rd – 25th at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It is geared specifically toward marina and boatyard owners, operators and managers, as well as dock masters, harbormasters, boat builders and repairers, and industry consultants. Duncan Peacock, resident of Kitimat BC and member of Kitimat Marine Search and Rescue and RCMSAR Unit 63, has been awarded the 12th annual Tim Jones Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Outdoor Community in British Columbia.

Peacock has been a member of Kitimat Marine Search and Rescue and RCMSAR Unit 63 for 31 years, making him one of the longest-serving members in the province.
