WALKER BAY LAUNCHES THE SUPERTENDER 325 DELUXE CONSOLE RIB

Walker Bay Delux DLX3

June 5, 2018

Walker Bay Boats, has launched the new Supertender 325 Deluxe Console for Spring 2018, rounding off this RIB line to four different models. Michael Carroll, Director of Sales & Marketing for Walker Bay Boats, said “We feel this is the best lightweight console tender in its class, in that it offers superior comfort, unmatched luxurious features and exceptional performance for a boat this size.” This 10’8” RIB weighs just 118 kg or 259 lbs, can take up to 5 passengers with a recommended 20 HP engine, but capacity for 30 HP if you want the extra speed.

Exceptional Performance
The Supertender has a deep V-hull that cuts through chop for a smoother ride and deflects water down in crosswinds. This combined with the wider bow that helps blocks spray, keeps passenger’s drier in rough water conditions. The Supertender has a pronounced chine which grips better in turns so there is no cavitation of the motor. The V shaped hull is gradually reduced to the stern creating a section in the rear of the hull for lift and improved early planing. The vacuum resin molded hull has a foam core making it stronger and lighter than other comparable boats.

Designed for comfort
The custom-designed console has a large dashboard for a 7 in. chart plotter with wind screen protection. The 13 in. steering wheel and extra legroom molded into the console makes for a more comfortable driving experience. The center console includes a cushion top seat with an insulated cooler and two stainless steel cup holders. The wide rear seat has extra thick seat cushions, dry storage underneath and a folding backrest providing easy access for mounting the stern pole light. The wide bow allows for more room upfront with a locker that fits a 6.6 gallon gas tank, distributing weight upfront for quicker planing.
The Supertender is available in either German Heytex PVC or ORCA CSM fabric with a US market starting price of MSRP $14,500 USD, fully rigged with engine and accessories.
